About the conference/
The international Conference on the fostering and development of talent is the key event in the field of education within the framework of the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU. The focus of the flagship conference corresponds to the motto of the Slovak Presidency in the field of education, youth, sport, science and research which is „fostering and development of talent“.
The realization of this event is the signal of interest of the Slovak Republic on positively influencing and providing development opportunities of talented individuals and thus society as a whole and highlighting the role in supporting and developing talent in different areas at national and also European level.
The aim of the conference is to create a platform for professional discussion focusing on current issues and problems of talent support with an emphasis on education and training, as well as spreading awareness of the need and potential for development of talent, profiling views and attitudes to the topic not only within academia, but also among wide professional public at European level.
Main Topics/
The participants of the conference will be able to attend lectures and panel discussions of renowned experts. The discussed topics will include the following:
- Working with talents in the field of primary education, including early childhood education and care
- Talent and excellence in vocational education and training
- Social inclusion and promotion of talent

The conference is designed for the representatives of EU institutions and bodies, the relevant national policy makers of the different Member States, stakeholders from the field of education and support of talents and talented individuals, the organizations focused on working with talents, the businesses which develop the suitable environment for developing the potential in every individual, and other stakeholders in the area of the fostering and development of talent.
The interpretation in English and Slovak will be provided during the conference.
